Magic from Venice: Sina Centurion Palace

When I was dreaming about the most beautiful place on earth, apart from my beloved Hawaii, I had Venice in my head. For magic, for fairy tales, for the past and history. When I received the invitation to Sina Centurion Palace, I knew it was one of my places on earth. Not because of the luxury. Because of the mysterious energy of this place.

Majestic charakter & location

The palace in which the hotel is housed was originally an ancient convent, and features a Venetian gothic façade facing out onto the Grand Canal. Inside, visitors will find a stylish, contemporary approach to Venetian elegance with design inspiration taken from the artistic surrounds: an ever-changing exhibition of contemporary artists from around the world graces the relaxing internal courtyard and the reception lounge.

Contemporary Venetian styling in an historic palazzo on the Grand Canal

Enjoy dreamy, mystical city views from the rooms and suites of Sina Centurion Palace. Housed in a former convent, the hotel stands at the mouth of the Grand Canal close to the Basilica of Santa Maria della Salute. Behind the magnificent Venetian-Gothic façade lie stylish, contemporary interiors, a delightful internal courtyard and a restaurant with stunning canal views.

The plush, modern rooms and suites are individually styled with more than a touch of Venetian flair. Each one of Sina Centurion Palace’s eclectic rooms has fabulous city views and the Presidential Suite provides romantic views of the Grand Canal.

Be sure to visit the Peggy Guggenheim Museum and the Gallerie dell’Accademia, both of which are nearby. A visit to the Palace of Cà Rezzonico will give you a fascinating insight into Venice during the 18th century. Return to Sina Centurion Palace for cocktails in the courtyard followed by a romantic dinner overlooking the canal.

If you can imagine the spirit of venice, this place captures it fully. Each step after this magical hotel introduces you to a fairy tale from years ago. Masks, secrets, long dresses and corsets. To all this secret looks, gentle smiles…

The most beautiful thing about this hotel is the rhythm of the city that you hear from the balcony.
